FOX News 11 Interview with Dr. Lorrie Klein about her use of Lumigan (now available as Latisse) to help grow eyelashes. Lumigan was originally a drug developed by Allergan for use in treating Glaucoma, but Dr. Klein very quickly realized that it could be used for eyelash growth and her patients using it have enjoyed longer and fuller eyelashes every since.

Dr. Klein wasn’t alone in her findings however as independent manufacturers have been using the drug Bimatoprost, which is the generic name for Lumigan, in products they are calling eyelash conditioners. Under pressure from the FDA last fall however they changed their formulas or have been taken off the market.
