DISCLAIMER: This is a cost effective alternative to professional eyelash extensions. This is just what works for me and I am not a professional.

– LASH GLUE
In order for your lash extensions to be semi permanent and last for 2-3 weeks, this is the lash glue you need: Lash Tite by Ardell: http://amzn.to/1Zh1mEh
(I prefer the clear over the black, but that’s just my preference)
To use: I drip out a pea sized amount of glue and then apply a few lashes and then drip out another dot of the glue after a few minutes because it dries pretty quickly & once it starts to dry will not adhere the lashes well. Remember not to use too much glue if you do you will be able to see it and it will look bad. Less is more- this is key!

– INDIVIDUAL LASHES
Lashes I used in this video, Revlon: http://amzn.to/1Zh24Bs
I use the long lashes on the outer third (about 11 per eye), the medium on the middle (~9 per eye) and the short on the inner third (~3 per eye).
I also like the Ardell individual lashes http://amzn.to/1Zh2jwn

I prefer knotted lashes because I find with the knot free you can see the glue (knot free lash clusters are glued together and the glue has a sheen to it). This is just my preference.

– LASH REMOVER CREAM
This stuff works really well to remove lash extensions http://amzn.to/1UMvJ2N
Just let it sit on lash line for 10 minutes or so and lashes will come right off

– MAINTENANCE
The lash tite glue is waterproof however I still try to not get my lashes wet or touch them much. I wash my face with water and face wash on large cotton pads (http://amzn.to/1UMtPz9)
I also sleep on a beauty pillow so that I don’t damage my lashes while I sleep http://amzn.to/1OCPUv7
This is a specially designed pillow so that you can sleep on your side without your face touching the pillow

Other things:
My top is from Urban Outfitters last year, not sold anymore
Earrings are forever 21

***YOUR QUESTIONS***
A few questions i’m getting asked a lot in the comments

Can you apply mascara to these? Yes, you can. I sometimes apply a little bit of waterproof mascara to the ends to make them pop. You can just leave the mascara on or remove it gently with oil free makeup remover on a Qtip or spooly brush.

How do you remove eyeliner while wearing these? Use a little bit of oil free cleanser or oil free eye makeup remover on a q-tip and wipe the liner off.
