Valencia J. was born in Washington, DC and raised in Baltimore, Maryland. She has always had passion for the beauty industry. Valencia J. studied Cosmetology at Bennett Career Institute in Washington, DC where she became a licensed Stylist. Valencia did not stop her education there, she received other certifications from Graham Webb International where she studied Esthetics, Von Lee international where she learned Eyebrow Threading and became a certified Lash Extension Specialist with Shavanasa Lashes. She has also been a junior styling assistant to Celebrity hair stylist and makeup artist Gerald Armstrong and Dervelle Harris at Lamar Edward Exclusive Salon in Washington, DC. Valencia’s motto is “Wink With Pink” and her job is to bring out the beauty within you. Her love of brows came when her mom went through a second round of chemotherapy in 2013. It was very hard for Valencia knowing that everything her mom went through was happening all over again and that one more time her mom was losing her hair and eyebrows. Valencia J. looked within herself and realized that it was time to invest in being the person that makes that difference for women and men, through grooming their brows. So she did research and found out about Kim, an esthetician from London, who was coming to the US to give a class on eyebrow extensions. Through learning and being able to teach others about this remarkable technology Valencia J. hopes that she can bring eyebrow extensions to the masses and make a true difference not only for those going through chemo, but for everyone. The desire that Valencia J. has is to let every woman know that they are diva’s and with a little Tender Loving Care from Valencia J. those brows will be more fabulous than ever!
