I’ve dreamed of having these long, luscious, fluttery lashes my whole life. I’ve tried things like wearing fake lashes but those ended up tearing off my lashes even more. I haven’t gone as far as trying those prescription ones because not only are they expensive, they’re full of chemicals that I don’t really feel comfortable using. So I’ve found a better way using all natural ingredients that I can find at my local health food store!
Natural Eyelash Growth Serum Recipe:
Ingredients –
– 1 container or vial
– Castor Oil
– Sweet Almond Oil (or cooking Almond Oil)
Preparation-
First I’m going to fill my vial ¾ the way up with Castor Oil. Then I’ll fill the rest of my vial up with the sweet almond oil.
I’m going to close my vial and give it a good shake. Mix everything up, then using a clean cotton swab, I’m just going to dip it and then swipe it on my eyelashes.
I like to do this before I go to bed every night after I wash my face so that it really absorbs into my eyelashes. Do this for three weeks every night and you’ll notice a huge difference. Your lashes will be thicker and slightly longer too.
CHALLENGE:
I challenge you to try this three week experiment and share your results with me! Tag me on instagram (@honeysucklecatering) and show me how long your lashes are. Subscribe for more Natural Beauty remedies and I’ll see you guys next time. Bye!

I’ve used just castor oil on my lashes and I have seen significant
improvements. I’ve heard good things about sweet almond oil but never tried
it with castor oil before. Thanks for the tip. I will definitely give it a
try.

My mom cut my lashes when I was a baby as well and I actually did end up
with long lashes. I don’t know if I would do that when it came to when I
have children though.. I think it’s a Vietnamese thing.

It boils down to testosterone (which both men and women produce, though
usually in different quantities) and your genes, specifically in the hair
‘sacks'; the follicle. The follicles have varying degrees of sensitivity to
the testosterone and that is what triggers the hair growth meaning that no
matter if its cut or shaved- it won’t trigger “more” in terms of growth.
You’re stuck with the genes you’re given (sadly.) This goes for all kinds
of hair on your body, though its important to note that on, say a man, the
facial hair does not necessarily indicate more testosterone then in others,
as people with less growth have been measured at the same testosterone
levels as those with significantly more facial hair. Like I said at first,
it takes two things to make it happen; testosterone and the right genes.
Hope that helps anyone wondering!

I use vaseline|petroleum jelly on my eyelashes every night after showering.
Since vaseline is so heavy/thick i like to use it before sleeping. Time has
passed and BOOM! Definitely see a difference! :)

Something else that might work is Vaseline. You just apply it to your
lashes that night and the next day my lashes were REALLLY full. It worked
for me but it might not work for other people :(. It’s worth trying though
lol.
